Part 2: The Betrayal

The ballroom sparkled beneath crystal chandeliers. White roses decorated every table, and soft music drifted through the air.
Emily stood outside the grand hall, one hand resting on her pregnant belly and the other holding a small gift box. Inside was a silver watch engraved with the words:
""For the best husband and future father.""
She smiled as she walked toward the entrance.
Then she heard his voice.
Her husband's voice.
""After the baby is born... I'll leave her.""
Emily froze.
A group of guests laughed.
Her husband, Daniel, wrapped an arm around a stunning blonde woman standing beside him.
The woman smirked.
""And what about your wife?"" someone asked.
Daniel shrugged.
""She was useful. That's all.""
The room erupted with laughter.
Emily felt her world collapse.
The baby kicked inside her stomach.
Her eyes filled with tears.
But instead of running away...
She pushed open the ballroom doors.
And every head turned toward her.
