Chapter 2 - The Federal Extraction

The heavy emergency room doors rattled violently on their reinforced metal hinges.
The doctors backed away in sheer terror as the industrial lock began to groan under immense, sustained pressure.
I grabbed a sharp surgical scalpel from the tray, preparing to fight for my life against cartel hitmen.
The door suddenly burst open in a massive explosion of splintered wood and shattered safety glass.
A tall, muscular man in a dark tailored suit stepped through the wreckage with a suppressed pistol drawn.
He flashed a gold federal badge and quickly identified himself as Special Agent Vance.
He immediately approached the metal tray and smashed the blinking microchip into dust with the heavy butt of his gun.
The red tracking light finally died, plunging the chaotic room back into an eerie, tense silence.
Vance grabbed my arm forcefully and dragged me out of the hospital through a secure, hidden service elevator.
He threw me into the back of a heavily armored black SUV parked in the loading dock.
As we sped away into the dark night, he explained the horrific, unbelievable truth about my family.
He revealed that my sister's new husband was a high-ranking money launderer for the notorious Navarro cartel.
The microchip contained the encrypted access codes to offshore bank accounts holding over fifty million dollars in illegal funds.
Sarah had stolen the codes and embedded them in the cake to smuggle them out of the heavily surveilled wedding venue.
By smashing the cake violently into my face, she had turned me into an unwitting, bleeding drug mule.
Vance drove me to a classified underground federal safe house on the desolate outskirts of the city.
He promised that I would be heavily protected while he gathered a tactical team to arrest my treacherous sister.
I spent three agonizing, claustrophobic days locked in a concrete room, waiting for any news of the outside world.
On the third day, Vance pulled up a live, encrypted surveillance feed on his government laptop.
The footage showed two local police officers knocking heavily on Sarah's suburban front door.
I watched intently as Sarah answered the door with a calm, deeply arrogant smile on her beautiful face.
She did not look surprised or frightened to see the authorities standing on her porch.
Instead of acting like an innocent, grieving bride, she handed the officers a thick manila envelope stuffed with cash.
Vance enhanced the audio feed just as Sarah leaned in and spoke to the deeply corrupt cops.

She gave them the exact GPS coordinates of our highly classified federal safe house.
She smiled sweetly and told them to execute everyone inside without a single ounce of mercy.
